Case Studies: GSK GlaxoSmithKline

Glaxo SmithKline selected Excel Translations to translate its web-based library of Material Safety Data Sheets into Spanish, French, and Portuguese. The project required the translation of over 500,000 words summarizing information about material identification, hazardous ingredients, health, physical, and fire hazards, first aid, chemical reactivities and incompatibilities, spill, leak, and disposal procedures, and protective measures required for the safe handling and storage of hazardous materials. The translated database is now used worldwide by Glaxo SmithKline employees.
